About me

Hello!! I’m Michelle and I’m from Brazil.

I am graduated in Electronics Engineering from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2013, Brazil). I also attended the Specialization Course on Embedded Systems at Universidade de Pernambuco (2015, Brazil). When I was younger I got interested in the electronics field because I thought it was awesome the simple fact of turn on a switch and a light turns on! Electronics is like magic to me!! Today, I’m passionate about embedded systems and I really enjoy to participate in every phase of a project: hardware design, PCB design, soldering electronic components of a prototype, firmware development and testing the system.

During my graduation, I’ve done a scientific initiation in the laboratory of devices and nanostructures (LDN) where I worked with monitoring of the power grid via wireless instrumentation and I had the opportunity of participating with a paper in a educational congress, COBENGE 2009. I’ve also done an internship at the company FITec where I worked in a nobreak tester project and in a project of monitoring module of the power grid quality. My graduate work was a multimedia sound system with remote access interface on Android devices.

When I was at Universidade de Pernambuco, I’ve designed an Arduino-based electrocardiography (ECG) system and a dual-band embedded system capable of behaving as a node in a wireless sensor network.

I’ve done research in CALTECH LTDA about a portable equipment for quick diagnosis of dengue fever. I also worked in Tomus company with maintenance and development of hardware and documentation of truck tracking system.

I also like to post videos in my YouTube channel about electronics. When I decided to learn Arduino I made a tutorial videos to share my newly acquired knowledge.

I’ve lived in Berlin, Germany, for 3 years and as a hobby I’ve developed an automatic watering embedded system for water my plants with web application for connecting and persisting the sensor data.

I’ve also lived in Dublin, Ireland, for two years and nowadays I live in Madrid, Spain. I’ve created this space to talk about insights, projects and innovations in the field of embedded systems. I hope I have a little fun around here!!! 😀

Enjoy it!!! 🙂
Michelle.

Michelle,

Parabéns pelos tutoriais postado no YouTube e demais trabalhos desenvolvidos.
Desejo-lhe sucesso aí na Alemanha e que volte para ajudar nosso país a se desenvolver.

Atenciosamente,
Marcos Gersemir
